What I really want for Mother's Day...
...is a little time to myself. I don't want perfume, jewelry or lingerie. Not even a day at the spa. Just a few hours to putter around and do whatever I want to without deadlines and children demanding to be driven somewhere.

What I really want for Mother's Day is a quiet day with my family. So many times, these holidays are ruined by the pressure of running to different relatives' houses....his mom then your mom....
What I want is for my beautiful family (both sides) to come over and enjoy a delicious meal and quiet conversation. No hecticness AT ALL.
I want to be treated like a mom! respected, honored, loved, cherished - everything that I'm not on a regular basis.
Ana is a very special mother. She has all these kids. I know she's a good mom - she writes about them. I think her kids are lucky to have her as a mom.
