The sad, sad saga of Anna Nicole Smith continues, with parties duking it out in court -- ostensibly to get the rights to bury her. At stake, we all know, is not so much a burial as strengthening the claim to her baby daughter, who stands to inherit more money than you and I put together will ever see.

What bothers me the most is the amount of "air time" this case is receiving. There are so many other issues that should be in the forefront -- not the fight over the body of this poor pathetic woman.
She was a comic/tragic figure in life, a non-celebrity. She is becoming more so in death.
Fame is not what it is cracked up to be, it seems. Vicky changed her name and used her body to become "famous" -- which led to a life of drugs and bad decisions.
The men she associated with are all questionable -- and their motives are even more so.
Please -- let's not hear any more about Ana Nicole or Britney or any of the other quasi-celebrities of this world.
Let's talk about people that are noteworthy and have accomplished glorious and wonderful things.

There are more important things going on in the world.
I am sick of hearing of this melodrama.
it is rather sickening to watch the goings on in todays media circus. does anybody have a life of therir own. what ever happened to compassion and privacy. what ever happened to empathy fo others. all I see is greed sensationalism and "bad accident voyeorism". It is most disgusting.
Although I have to say I have been monitoring Anna Nicole for many years. I was a little taken back when I first saw the show many years ago and thought what is an attorney or lawyer doing with her. She must have felt some trust in him to allow him in her life this long. As you read about her bio and etc you will see a pattern of relationships that she does not hold onto...her mother, family, friends and lover but in the end she had held onto Stern so I believe that Stern loved her a great deal. I think it is a disgrace that everyone is fighting over where to bury Anna Nicole. As a mother I feel the mother needs to be buried next to her kin if the kin happens to pass before the mother. I feel her mother is using this, and if her mother had any kind of feelings she would let her daugheter be buried next to her son. She is claiming she wants to be close to Anna so why should be given the right to be close to Anna? THere isn't anything more special than a mother and child bonding and that is where Anna Nicole needs to be is next to her son.
OH for God's sake the 2 people that are the most important in the case are either dead or too yound to speak Not one person should have the right to Anna nor her child , she should be Buried by her Son and the baby should be award of the state to Protect her welfare and inheritance from all these monsters especially Anna's Mother it was clearly seen in the Vidio Anna wanted no Part of her mom wether she was on drugs or drunk she spoke her words Loud and Clear in that vidio that she hated her mom and im sure if she were alive and could speak for herself she would not want her little girl anywhere near her Mother as for the Men pursuing the child theier in Love with the money Not the child THINK OF Her and whats best for her
Anna Nicole Smith purchased a burial site beside her son in the Bahamas... hellooooo? What's wrong with this Franken-mother who wants not only to disgrace her daughter's remains, and trash her obvious wishes... but also dig up her dead grandson and transport him to another location? A pox on her! Let the poor woman be buried where she obviously wanted to be, treasure her memory.
Sadly, I don't think any of these people are motivated by "real love". They all recognize the fact that Anna and now her daughter represent mega millions of dollars, and that is exactly what they are after.
In my opinion, Anna should be buried in the Bahamas next to her son. If her son was buried in China, and that is where she should go. Isn't obvious to these people that she would want to be next to her son? The only person who truly loved her?
All of these people just want their fifteen minutes of fame, and ultimately get control of Anna's money. Money is the root of all evil, for money families, friendships, business partners etc., are destroyed.
Finally, all of these men who claim to be her daughter's father, should all step up to the plate and do a DNA test, to see who the father is. Once that has been determined the child to be placed with her biological father. Let's now waste any more time, this poor little girl need to be with her father, so that the bonding can begin and her life can become as "normal" as it will ever me. She will always be remembered as the little girl everyone wanted, not for who she was but unfortunately for what she represents: MONEY!!!
