So this is what passes for news these days. We're supposed to care about O.J. Simpson's girlfriend's injuries .
Of course this isn't the only example how the news business I entered almost 30 years ago has been turned on its head. Earlier this week NBC's Today show spent about 10 minutes on Britney Spears' latest crisis. Who cares?
Well, apparently somebody does.
