Anyone who grew up in Miami knows all too well the unique voice and talent of Rick Shaw. This morning, he told listeners he's retiring. Wow!

I remember listening to Rick Shaw on WQAM (560 AM) back in the late 60s/early 70s).
I will miss his distinctive, familiar and (to me) soothing voice on the air as well.
